The 32nd Annual Taste of Chicago Festival
This year’s Taste of Chicago may be seeing some changes, but Lou Malnati’s is one the mainstays among the new vendors and new concepts being introduced. The annual food festival (put on by the City of Chicago and run by the Illinois Restaurant Association) will take place July 11-15, which is five days shorter than previous years, but will still take place in Chicago’s Grant Park. Despite the reduced number of vendors this year, there still promises to be an array of mouthwatering dishes to make it worth your while! New this year, the Taste of Chicago is adding 15 Pop-Up Restaurants that will each serve food for one of the five days. (But don’t worry, Lou Malnati’s will be serving up our famous deep dish every day!) Music and exciting activities for the entire family complement the delicious food, making the Taste of Chicago a must for locals and tourists alike.
Admission is free, but some of the concerts require purchased tickets. Food and beverage tickets are sold in strips of 12 tickets for $8. For more information, visit www.Explorechicago.org.
