Our Kind of Draft Town
This week, Chicago is hosting the NFL draft for the first time in 50 years!
The draft will take place in Roosevelt University's Auditorium Theater, but the majority of fans will be gathering across the street. Grant Park and Congress Plaza have been transformed into a 900,000 square foot Draft Town, full of fun stuff to do.
If you're headed to Chicago for the festivities this week, some of our favorite Draft Town activities include:
- Super Bowl Gallery featuring historical Bears memorabilia
- Sweetness Simulator where, using a skydive simulator, fans can soar over the city, just like Walter Payton soared over the competition!
- Wilson Football Factory where you can see how official NFL game balls are made
- NFL Locker Room replica – experience the game day locker room atmosphere just like the pros!
For a full list of activities and hours of operation, visit the NFL's Draft Town page.
Of course, if you're going to be in Chicago, you should also indulge in some deep dish pizza! Our location in the South Loop is less than a mile from Draft Town, but you can get your deep dish fix at any one of our many Chicagoland locations.
Even if you're just watching the draft at home, wherever that may be, don't miss out on the fun! Order up some great Chicago food, sit back, and watch the action unfold.
