Lou Malnati and his wife Jean opened the first Lou Malnati's Pizzeria on March 17, 1971. With a secret family recipe for our famous dough - which we still use to this day - California vine-ripened tomatoes, and Wisconsin mozzarella, from the same dairy we've used from day one, our iconic pizza has been a part of memories and traditions from coast to coast for more than 50 years, and counting.
