Important information about dry ice...
All perishable packages are packed with dry ice to keep the contents fresh. Dry ice is extremely cold at -109.3°F or -78.5°C. Any remaining dry ice should be handled with care. Avoid contact with your skin.

Don't see any dry ice?
  • The dry ice may have evaporated entirely.
  • Don't be alarmed if there is none present.
  • Your items will still be frozen or cool to the touch.
  • If you are not ready to enjoy your items just yet, place the contents in the freezer.
Can I put the products in the freezer?
If the products are cool to the touch when the package is received, you can put them in the freezer or prepare them immediately. If the products are not cool to the touch they may no longer be suitable for consumption, please call our customer service team at 1-800-Lou-to-go for assistance.
How long do the products keep in the freezer?
For the best taste, we recommend eating the frozen products within 30 days; however the products will keep in the freezer longer.
How long do the products keep in the refrigerator?
A defrosted product can last in the refrigerator for 48 hours. However, we recommend eating the product within 24 hours of defrosting.
How does the pizza arrive?
All of Lou Malnati's mail order pizzas are nine inches and comfortably feed two adults. They are partially baked and flash frozen to preserve their hot-out-of-the-oven freshness. Your pizza will arrive frozen or cool to the touch and ready to be baked and eaten!
Can I cook the pizza with the lid on?
No, the lid is made out of cardboard and may catch on fire if it is put in an oven.
Can I cook the pizza in the microwave oven?
We do not recommend this. For best results cook your pizza in a conventional oven.
