Born and raised in Chicago, retired and live in Southern Illinois. I miss Nottoli's sausage, try it on the grill with plenty of wood smoke. It does not get any better than this! Now if I could get Lavilla on Pulaski to deliver, I would be happy! Also Gordo's Mexican resturant on Belmont, and The Red Apple Polish resturant on Milwaukee! You can't get great food like this down here, if you order a Steak taco, you get hamburger!
