Lou's Pizza, Vienna Beef Hot Dog Kit & Eli's Cheesecake Combo

I ordered a box for my father in law and he loved it. They shipped it in a timely manner. Thank you for helping me make his birthday special.

Our daughter sent us two pizzas for Christmas . Both were deep dish. The side crusts were so hard One couldn’t eat them, unless one wanted a cracked tooth. Lou Malnalti is the pizza of my dreams.These crust appeared to be formed and left to sit and harden before they were finished a frozen.. Don’t waste money on sending these to family. Wait until they visit and buy them fresh. Frozen was a disappointment this year. We had them a couple years ago and enjoyed them. This year the crusts were like bricks.

As a native Chicagoan, I'm very opinionated about Chicago-style pizza and hot dogs. Ordered a pizza/hot dog kit/cheesecake combo, and it arrived faster than I expected. I was a little let down that the dog kit was lacking the onions, tomatoes and pickles, I thought about it, and that's actually pretty reasonable. The pizza wound up being almost just like a freshly made Lou's pie, and the hot dogs were right up there with Superdawg or Herm's in Skokie (the two best places in the city). If I were somewhere where I couldn't find a decent dog or deep dish, I would order this again in a heartbeat... oh, and the cheesecake was just fine, but I mean... it's cheesecake.

I wish I could say otherwise but my order was just that - OK. I ordered for a gift and after they received it I felt like it could have been so much better. Was disappointed in the Customer Service - after they failed to mail my gift in a timely manner and never followed up with me. I had to follow-up with them and if I hadn't I am not sure if my gift would have ever been mailed out. I was sad I didn't have a better experience as I really wanted to enjoy the Tastes of Chicago.
