We had gone to a Lou Malnati's while we were in Chicago and thought the pizza was great. Once we got back to Florida we looked for a way to get them shipped. We ordered 6 deep dish pizzas and from start to finish the process was great! We received an email once we ordered, an email when they were going to be shipped and an email once it was delivered. We were amazed that even in the hot Florida sun, the pizzas were still frozen. The dry ice was almost gone, but that was to be expected. The taste was exactly as we remembered, awesome! We will be ordering again soon!

Cheese and Sauce Great; Crust Hard
I ordered two pizzas. Cheese and sausage. I base my 4 stars on the cheese pie. The sauce and cheese were perfect. The pie needs to be baked longer than the package says, however. I would go at least 45 minutes. At 40 minutes, the cheese was not flowing and hot. The crust is just okay. Somewhere between a pie crust and a biscuit. I would prefer a crust that not quite as hard. If the current crust is a 10 on the hardness scale, I would like 7.5. The sausage pie was not very good. Seemed to have less cheese, and the sausage was boiled, not baked. It boils in the sauce and cheese, so you get grey sausage with no added flavor from browning. Boiled sausage is a little gamey. I recommend the cheese pizza. Forget toppings. Nobody likes boiled toppings.

Family Tradition
My husband went to Medical school in Chicago and loved you pizza. We live in Florida now. I ordered it one year as a surprise around Christmas. It has now become a family tradition as our Christmas Eve meal every year. Our kids call it the fancy pizza because we only let them have it on Christmas Eve. Thank you

Great Product - Fast Shipping
I ordered the 2 deep dish pizzas, not sure what to expect. What I got were two delightful 9 inch, fresh deep dish pizzas, complete in their own baking pan. Packaging was excellent, and the pizzas were still solidly frozen on dry ice. I followed the simple directions, and they came out great. Now that I know your product, I have ordered the 6 pack, which is a much better deal. These will go in the freezer and this Virginia guy will have a taste of Chicago whenever he needs one. My only complaint would be the shipping status was never updated online. My original delivery date was listed as today, but I could never see if my order had even been shipped. But, I happened to look out on my porch this morning, and there was the box :)

Spreading Lou Malnati's fandom
I live in Florida, but remember when the first Lou Malnati's opened in Elk Grove Village, IL (where I went to high school) in 1971. We rarely make it home anymore, but I send out pizza to friends and family for birthdays every year. Keep making these pizzas with fresh, quality ingredients, and you have me as a lifetime customer!

My family loves these so I always get two for each sibling and their family, They cook up well and are very tasty--they just seem a little small.

Deep Dish Pizzas
Portillo's Italian beef and sweet peppers deep dish pizza was awesome. The Portillo's hot pepper deep dish pizza was okay. The cheese pizza was okay and the veggie was just okay.
