4 Lou Malnati's Deep Dish Pizzas

I am sure it would taste much better if it was fresh.

What they call pizza in Los Angeles leaves a lot to be desired. When I found Lou Malnati's and Taste of Chicago, I was so excited and hoped it would be as good as I am used to as my cousin's in Chicago have their own pizza place since 1954. Lou Malnati's doesn't disappoint. If you haven't tried it, you should. It's as close as you will come to Chicago pizza.

Pizza was just as good as we remembered it. We'll be back for more.

We have been missing Lou Malnati's since the day we moved to Chicago so when we finally learned that we could deliver with 2 day shipping we purchased right away! The pizza came quick and was very well packaged. We loved the easy directions and the pizza came out perfect. Tasted just like when we were back in Chicago. Great job Lou's and awesome customer service!

Ordered Lou Malnati's after trying another popular frozen deep-dish from Chicago. Lou Malnati's came highly recommended and based on reviews, I had high hopes it would be better than their competitor. To my dismay, the pizza was not as deep as their competitors and was unfilling when shared. The crust that everyone seemed to rave about was tasteless. The cheese was rubbery and lacked that cheese pull that you would hope for in a product like this. I followed the instructions to a T and tried a variety of the topping options - veggie, cheese, pepperoni, sausage hoping for a different result. Alas, they were all equally disappointing. I would not purchase this product again.

We moved from Chicago to the Seattle area 10 years ago and though Seattle has its good points, their pizza is not one. I order it a few times a year and it isn't any more expensive than ordering out locally. We also send to family in other states during the holidays, they are always thrilled to get Lou's pizzas!

I've only been to Chicago once in my life but I had Lou's pizza and fell in love. I live in Florida and they don't make anything like it here. Flash forward several years when I was surprised by my friend in Chicago with a sausage pie. I had no idea they could be shipped! Omg it made me cry I was so happy. I've been waiting for the weather to get cooler to have some shipped and the time finally arrived. I've already eaten 2 of them and have 2 left in my freezer. I will definitely be ordering more before it gets hot again here!
