We have eaten Lou's for many years. Now we order them from out of state. The last two orders were a little different. The sauce was a different color red and more importantly the crust was thinner on the edges. Not as much butter crust love. Maybe the new owners are trimming back from the old recipe? That would be a shame. Still delicious but there IS a difference.

Having lived in the Chicago area my whole life, eating pizza at Lou’s restaurant was the norm. Now living in Colorado, the taste for Chicago pizza becomes an obsession. They satisfy my craving and are easy to pop in the oven. When my kids know I’ve ordered, they come over to indulge.
I ordered the Lou for the 1st time and was very disappointed. Too much water from the veggies. Had to cook longer which made the crust rock hard. Very unimpressed. :cry:
Arrived a day earlier than expected. The 6 pizzas were still frozen despite the temps being in the upper 90’s. We cooked one pizza that evening. It tasted almost as if we were eating it made fresh from the restaurant. I will bee ordering from them again without hesitation.
Delivery was on time and was still cold. The dry ice had broken and leaked out but pizza was still cold.
