After expecting the pizzas to arrive on a Wednesday which is what it said when purchased online ruining the chance for my whole family to enjoy Lou’s one last time (our father is dying and family in town from out of state). The pizzas arrived thawed out ( we were home at time of delivery) 2/3 pizzas we cooked had half the cheese slid to one side. Taste was still good. We have ordered from you at least 10 times.
Highly recommend!
yum
The only reason they don’t get a 5 is the size of the pies is a little underwhelming. The customer service after the sale, when we found an issue was excellent. We will buy again in the future.
The pizzas arrived in excellent packaged box. I cooked the peperino the first night. Overall id give it 7.8 only items lacking were peperino and more sauce. Other than that the crust, chesses, peperino, and sauce were 10 out of 10. I cooked the sausage pizza the next night also excellent. I'd give it 10 lots of meat and sauce. I will be buying more for not only me but also for my family and friends :yum::yum:
Next best thing to being in Chicago
We miss Chicago pizza in Florida!
While the pizzas are delicious the new ordering process is a downgrade. You used to be able to choose your delivery date which is very important for a perishable item. The new process does not have that option. Even worse there is no indication of a shipping or delivery date when you place the order. Several days later I received a notification my pizzas had shipped and had to copy and past the tracking number to the UPS site to get any information on delivery. The date of delivery interfered with a planned trip out of town so I had to alter my plans waiting for the delivery. I have ordered from Taste of a Chicago regularly for 15 years but am reconsidering that now.
