Pizza Pan Curing Procedure
When purchasing a brand new baking pan, it is necessary that you cure/season the pan before use. The seasoning process fills the valleys of the porous aluminized steel.

-First, the pan must be washed in hot soapy water to remove impurities. Use regular dish soap and a sponge to prevent scratching the surface of the pan. Let dry
-Coat the bottom of the pan with salt.
-Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
-Place pan in oven and bake 6 hours.
-Remove the pan from the oven and allow to cool.
-With repetitive use the pan will cure/darken over time.
-Hand washing is recommended to extend the pan life. Do not use scouring pads, steel wool or abrasive cleaners.
-Once dry, store pan upside down. Do not "nest" with other pans immediately after towel drying. Keep pans away from moist and humid storage environments. The best storage areas are dry, warm store areas or still-warm ovens.

    Never received the pizza pan

    Never received the pizza pan that I ordered with my pizza had to call several times finally received it and not great quality.

    I did not receive the pan I ordered and you have not responded to my request to send it. The spatula is a good product but not worth $27..

    The pan is a lot smaller than I thought

    The picture makes it look a lot bigger, and also I didn't receive curing instructions like a previous reviewer posted.

    Should have bought a long time ago!

    Used pan for first time last night after seasoning it. Perfect crispy, golden brown crust just like you get at the restaurant.

    Spatula and pan

    The pan really does make a difference with the pizza crust. The spatula is sharp enough to use for cutting the pizza. Worth the money.

    Do yourself a favor and get the pan and spatula. Much better than cooking in the foil shipping container.

    Quality Spatula

    Had to get the spatula when I placed my order from Lou's to serve my pizzas. Very sturdy and always gets me excited when friends are over and I have the pan and spatula serving delicious pizzas. It's like I am back in the restaurant.

    Lou's Spataula

    This makes me feel right at home ( back in Illinois) when I am cutting up our pizza. It works well with the pan we got as well when we ordered 6 frozen pizzas and had them shipped. There is no good pizza in Arizona!,, Thank You Lou's.
