I guess I was expecting something fantastic. The deep dish pizza was a bust. Didn't like it. Nothing special especially forthat price. Will not be purchasing it again. I make homemade pizza way better than that. It was like eating a chunk of cheese!

When I moved out of Chicago my parents used to send me Portillos or Lou Malnati's every year for my birthday for a little taste of home. I then started to order myself multiple times per year, however over the past year and a half to two years the quality of Portillos has gone way down. It is not the same ingredients, and they also don't send all of the ingredients like they used to. The directions say the hot dogs require a tomato, pickles and an onion, which the package used to come with. Now it does not. It's unfortunate when new owners take over and the quality goes down. Not sure if I will continue to order multiple times per year like I did in the past.

I was so looking forward to the taste of Chicago, but it was sadly disappointing especially for the $100. We got pepperoni and sausage pizza along with a 10 pack of hotdogs. We follow the directions to a T. The sausage pizza was absolutely delicious except for the crust pepperoni pizza the lack pepperonis and the same thing with the crust it was terrible like an old pie hard not crispy. We thought the hotdog package out the buns were hard the hotdogs like flavor we would’ve been better off just getting ballpark buns from the store and Nathan‘s hotdogs from the grocery store or go to Costco for $1.50. It is definitely not worth spending the hundred dollars or $40 a pizza you can definitely tell that this was manufactured at a cold pack and company hardly taste like the real thing
We love the Vienna beef hot dog flavor and of course you cant forget the poppy seed buns and neon relish yummy :grinning_face_with_star_eyes: :yum:
