Terrible Customer Service & Communication
This is the second time I have ordered from Tastes of Chicago and both times my shipments were delayed and were not communicated to me until AFTER the anticipated delivery date. I called the gift recipient to see if they received their pizzas as scheduled 1/3/2014 and they had not. I called customer service 1/4/2014 to cancel the order and then received an order confirmation 1/6/2014 that the shipment was delayed and would ship 1/7/2014. It seems as though it is a very disorganized operation and for the very high cost of shipping these items, it should include better communication. I understand there were storms and that delayed shipment, but Amazon notified me of the delay of my order with them as did another local vendor. The first order (last year) had nothing to do with weather - again, just very poor communication. As much as I like to give the gift of Chicago pizza to loved ones that live out of town, I will never again place an order through this website.

Very Pleasantly Surprised!
The Roni pizza was delicious! I did not expect or believe it would be as tasty as it was! Plenty of deep cheese, wonderful tomato sauce and delectable pepperonis! Cooking was easy, the pizza comes in a tin pan that you can put in the oven and the directions are on the lid! I cant wait to dig into the sausage pizza! I must note, I got an email from the company that provided me with an update on the delivery status of my order...shipment was delayed 1 day due to weather in Chicago and they wanted to be sure the pizzas would not get delayed somewhere during shipping. How cool is that! And when my order shipped, it arrived in 48 hours as promised! Talk about great customer service! Outstanding all the way around!

Cheese Pizza
Pies are too small for the price. Over $50.00 for two pies is not worth it. You should get a regular size pizza. The pie looked larger on Steve Harvey's show. I would not order again if they are this small.

Thought I ordered pepperoni!!
I ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas for a gift, bragging how tasty and delicious they were. Much to my surprise when they were delivered and cooked we had to search for the pepperoni. I was embarrassed after raving so much about the quality. Either we got a bad pair of pizzas or the quality has gone down hill tremendously. I'm not certain I would order again.
