It was ok . I was afraid to eat it because when I opened it it was completely defrosted . I called and they said it would be ok to eat it but when I cooked it it had a funny smell so I only ate one piece and threw the rest away. I haven’t cooked the second one yet .

I was excited to learn you could ship the styrofoam cooler back to Lou's to be reused. When I went to ship it back, postage costs more than the pizzas! This is our favorite gift for fellow Chicago expats around the country, but we feel terrible about all the non-recyclable waste in every order.
My friends were deighted with the pizza. When the first order went awry, the company followed up promptly and sent a second shipment.
I haven’t had it yet, but did give one to my son and he said it was the best frozen pizza he has ever had!!
There was a problem with the UPS delivery to my cousin in California being delayed and Taste of Chicago sent me an email, before I even knew about it, notifying me of the delay. They also informed me that they would send out a new shipment, as the previous one arrived cold but no longer frozen, and they sent it next day air. As to the quality of the pizzas - that is never in question. I have ordered numerous times, sent to family across the country, and it is always well received. I even sent them to a rental house we were at when the whole family gathered together. It was great having one of our Chicago favorites while on vacation. Thanks to Lou!
