Package Contents

  • 16-oz. lamb gyro slices (approximately 25 slices)
  • 10-oz. tzatziki (cucumber sauce)
  • Six Pitas (makes six large sandwiches)

Tzatziki (Cucumber Sauce): Open container and stir contents until creamy smooth. DO NOT HEAT SAUCE! (Unused sauce should be refrigerated). For additional sauce, add sour cream.

MICROWAVE

Pita Bread: Microwave for 15-20 seconds until warm and soft.

Gyros Slices: Microwave 4/5 slices of Gyro meat (single serving) on a microwave safe dish loosely covered with plastic wrap for approximately 45-60 seconds on high setting. For more than 5 slices, add approximately 10 seconds per slice.

PAN OR SKILLET

Pita Bread: Heat at medium/high temperature until warm and soft, about 20 -30 seconds per side. If you like your Pita slightly crisp, lightly baste Pita with vegetable oil on both sides while heating.

Gyros Slices: Heat Gyros slices on medium/high heat for approximately 20-30 seconds per side.

Remember: Gyros are precooked, so DO NOT OVERCOOK WHEN HEATING!

    Good food and good value

    I love it. I am not from Chicago, I'm from NYC and grew up on these. I'd lived in Illinois for 3 years ago I have had heard of the organization before. I didn't know how it was going be as far as taste coming frozen. I was pleasantly surprised that all I needed to do was heat it up and add a few ingredients and Shazam! Delicious gyros... Thank you. My only suggestion is to not put all the meat frozen together but 5 to 6 slices at a time so if I want to not thaw it out at one time I can keep the rest in the freezer.

    Great Deep Dish Pizza

    We really liked the Deep Dish Pizza. The crust was very good. I put some of my own toppings on it and it came out just fine.
