This Prime Rib Dinner serves 4-6 people and includes:

  • 4 lb. Prime Rib Roast
  • 16 oz au jus
  • 12 oz horseradish cream sauce
  • 32 oz mashed potatoes
  • 24 oz Brussels sprouts
  • 16 oz creamed spinach
  • 1 pan cornbread
  • 1 9-inch key lime pie

Prime Rib Dinner Kit

Wildfire Chef Joe Decker Recommends This Preparation of your Prime Rib Roast:

  • 1/4 cup Minced Garlic and 1/4 cup Olive Oil, mixed together
  • 3 Tbsp Kosher Salt and 1 Tbsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper, mixed together

Each roast has been hand selected and cut by Stock Yard's Packing of Chicago. Thaw prime rib roast in the refrigerator for 48 hours. Remove prime rib from packaging. Pat roast dry with a paper towel. Rub roast well with garlic and oil mix. Then season roast evenly with salt and pepper mix. Place on a wire rack in a roasting pan, fat side up. Pre-heat oven to 450°. Place roast in oven and roast at 450° for 30 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300° and continue to roast for one hour and 15 minutes. Check internal temperature with a meat thermometer; continue cooking to desired doneness per below chart:

  • 125° - 130° Medium rare
  • 135° - 140° Medium
  • 140° - 145° Medium well
  • 145° plus Well done

Let roast rest for 15 minutes before carving. Carve roast with a sharp carving knife, 1 inch to 1½ inch thick slices. Serve with warm au jus and horseradish cream.

Au jus

Place bag in a pot of boiling water. Heat for 12 - 15 minutes.

Horseradish Cream

Thaw in refrigerator overnight.

Redskin Mashed Potatoes

Place bag in a pot of boiling water. Heat for 12 - 15 minutes.

Brussels Sprouts

Oven: Remove lid, cover with foil, and bake in pre-heated 400° oven for 20 minutes. Remove foil and stir well. Heat for 20 more minutes or until heated through.

Creamed Spinach

Place bag in a pot of boiling water. Heat for 12 - 15 minutes.


Oven: Thaw overnight in refrigerator. Remove lid and warm in 350° oven for 12 - 15 minutes.

Key Lime Pie

Thaw in refrigerator overnight.
